Employee Rights Administration Division (ERAD)
The Employee Rights Administration Division (ERAD) provides support services and leadership regarding leaves of absence, job accommodations, conflict resolution, and more.
ERAD Services
- Processing requests for leaves of absence (excluding FMLA requests)
- Assessing job accommodation needs and facilitating job accommodations for individuals with disabilities
- Determining whether an individual is fit for duty (mentally or physically)
- Investigating and addressing complaints regarding discrimination, harassment, and bullying
- Facilitating voluntary workplace conflict resolution through the Guided Problem Solving (GPS) program
- Answering questions and providing training on these topics
Unemployment Insurance
ERAD is responsible for responding to all inquiries received from the State of Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development relating to MPS employee and former MPS employee earnings, hours worked, and eligibility for State of Wisconsin unemployment insurance benefits.
ERAD is responsible for appearing as MPS's representative and coordinating all MPS unemployment insurance hearings and appeals.
