Contractors

The Department of Facilities and Maintenance uses contractors to help maintain the buildings and grounds of Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS). This allows us to provide well-maintained environments that are conducive to learning. 

Facilities and Maintenance strives to maximize the use and efficiency of the district’s facilities by providing timely and cost-effective repair and maintenance to ensure school buildings and grounds are clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable, while effectively managing contract and regulatory compliance requirements based on district standards.

Master Specifications for Contractors 

All consultants and contractors are required to utilize the MPS Master Specifications. Contact your MPS Project Manager to receive the current version, or contact the Design and Construction Project Specialist to request a copy by emailing DFMSProcurement@milwaukee.k12.wi.us
