Trades Positions

Trades workers who are interested in working for Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) can apply for positions like painter, steamfitter, and much more.

The hiring process is as follows:

Written Test: Candidates must first pass a written test.
Practical Test: Those who pass the written test will be invited to take a practical test. The practical test allows them to demonstrate that they have the necessary skills for the job.
Interview: Those who pass the practical test will be invited to interview for the open position.

All candidates who pass the practical test will remain on our hire list for future openings for a period of two years.
