Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is led by the Board of School Directors, the superintendent, and the superintendent's cabinet, which includes her senior team and the leaders who oversee our schools.

School Board
MPS is governed by a nine-member Board of School Directors. One director is elected at large and eight directors are elected from numbered districts. The typical term for a board director is four years, and they each serve until their successor has been elected and qualified. The Board holds monthly public meetings.
