Every day counts! The best way to learn and to get ahead — and not fall behind — is for students to be in school every day. MPS teachers and staff are looking forward to seeing everyone in class this Friday on student count day — and every day.
 
This Friday, September 18, is one of the most important days of the school year for attendance. The state counts the enrolled students across Wisconsin on the third Friday of every September and then uses the numbers to determine how much state funding public schools receive.

Make sure your child attends school this Friday so they are counted and your school receives funding for all its students. The dollars from the third Friday count will help your school deliver a high-quality education.
