Milwaukee Virtual School (MVS) has seats open for Fall 2026. Apply by September 18, 2026! MVS provides a flexible schedule in an environment that families choose themselves. The program is delivered via Imagine Learning virtual instruction. Seats are available for students in Milwaukee County and surrounding counties.

MVS is approved by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as an MPS charter school and offers a full-time online program for children whose families prefer virtual learning. The program offers K5 through grade 12 and carries the same accreditation and accountability required for in-person schools.

What is the Enrollment Process at MVS?

Registration and Orientation

To register, families are required to view an informative video. At the end of the video, families can enter information to receive an email to complete the enrollment within two business days.

A family member is required to attend an orientation session to ensure understanding of the program. An adult in the home is expected to serve as a learning coach to support and assist children. For students to be successful, the adult is expected to monitor the student’s progress and stay up to date on communications sent from staff.

Transfer to In-Person

Students remain in the program for the full semester. If desired, they may transition to in-person learning at the end of a semester. Due to the differences in virtual and in-person curriculum, students cannot transfer during a semester.
