M³(M-Cubed)

M³ (also known as M-Cubed) is a collaboration between Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM) that works to transform the future of Milwaukee through education.

Established in 2015, this partnership serves staff and students of all three partners. M-Cubed offers professional development for all staff members to forge seamless transitions from kindergarten to college. Students are supported through programs designed to enhance college and workplace readiness:

M-Cubed College Connections: Dual enrollment to earn college credits while still in high school
Milwaukee Direct Admit: A streamlined college application that takes only five minutes
Milwaukee Parent Institute (MPI): A college readiness program for families
Smart Start: Supports extending from senior year of high school into college to help students succeed
