Graduation

At Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), we're committed to helping all students graduate college and career ready.

Graduation Requirements

To graduate from high school, students need a minimum of 22 total credits. These are made up of both required credits in different content areas and elective credits earned through a variety of optional courses that students can choose from.

Ceremonies: Class of 2026

MPS will host in-person graduation ceremonies for our 2026 graduates to recognize their outstanding academic achievements.

Each graduate receives 10 tickets for guests to attend, and all ceremonies are livestreamed.
