MPS Policies

Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) supports a safe, informed, and consistent learning environment by providing families with clear guidance on attendance, student rights and responsibilities, dispute resolution, school safety, and weather closures.

Parent/Student Handbook

The Parent/Student Handbook on Rights, Responsibilities, and Discipline gives you a detailed explanation of the rules that are in place to help all students learn. It also covers the rights of students and families and contains information about health, safety, transportation, special needs, athletics, and other important topics.

Dispute Resolution
