Free Breakfast and Lunch Programs
Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) will continue to participate in a free breakfast and lunch program for school year 2025–26. This program is referred to as the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
All enrolled students in MPS and MPS contracted schools are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge each day of the 2025–26 school year. Children can participate in these meal programs without fees and do not need to submit a meal application.
The district may still request Alternative Household Income Forms from households with a student participating in the CEP; however, free breakfast and lunch does not depend on returning this form. Completing the form is necessary to determine eligibility for other programs.
