Athletics: Milwaukee City Conference
For 130 years, the Milwaukee City Conference (MCC) has been the foundation for high school athletics in Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS).
Student-athletes from 21 high schools compete at the highest level in the MCC, creating connections in the classroom and under the lights. The MCC provides student-athletes with quality resources and high-level coaching, preparing the next generation of leaders for the world around them.
We strive to promote academic excellence; ensure safe and secure environments for practices and competitions; provide opportunities for student-athletes to develop new skills; encourage new leaders among our coaches and athletic directors; promote the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play; and ensure all participants adhere to MPS and WIAA rules and policies.
Student-athletes are building friendships, learning new skills, and creating lifelong memories, all while competing at a high level in the Milwaukee City Conference. Sign up for a sport and join them! Contact your school athletic director or call (414) 475-8133 to get involved and make high school count.
