Information for Employers

Employers, here's how to use the MPS Student Job Board to post and maintain your open positions for current high school students or recent graduates.

This site is available to all current MPS high school students and MPS alumni. Students will be able to apply directly through the website.

How to Create an Account

  1. Under Employers in the upper right-hand corner, click My Account.

  2. Scroll down to the "New Users Create an Account" section. Add your information—including a password—and make sure everything is correct.
  3. Once all information is added, click the blue Create My Account button.

Once logged in, you will see the Employers tab. Different pages are available.

Tips for Posting Positions

  • Keep your company information and positions updated.
  • Keep in mind you are posting for a high school student. Use language that will help them understand what the position is.
  • High school students are learning the ropes of a professional email and job board sites. Please be patient as they learn!

Employer Guide

Here are the different pages you'll encounter and how to use each one:

  • Home: This will take you back to the main page of the job board website.
  • Post a Job: Enter all information for the positions you would like to post. Positions will remain on the site for 30 days. In the job description box, please add links to additional websites, flyers, or information.
  • My Account: This is your dashboard displaying any messages or resume contacts.
  • My Jobs: View all the jobs that you have posted.
  • Resume Bank: Students will be able to publish their resumes for employers to find. Personal information will not be revealed. If an employer would like to reach out, they can do so through this site.
  • My Candidates: View the candidates that you have sent messages to for next steps.
  • My Company: Enter information about your organization and any additional colleagues. Make sure to keep your company profile updated so students can research you.
  • My Templates: Store past templates of your job postings and any automatic messages.
  • Help: Having technical issues? Reach out to the website platform.

Note: Employers can skip the Products and My Clients pages because the website is free to use.
